In School Bowling

In-School Bowling

In-School Bowling is a program designed to introduce kids of all ages to a lifetime sport that is fun and can be enjoyed by everyone! A complete curriculum, that includes 13 instructional lesson plans, interdisciplinary activities for all subject areas and loads of fun activities to enhance the instruction of each lesson, is provided free of charge from the Bowling Proprietor's Association of America.

Students participating in this program are provided complimentary bowling equipment courtesy of Hall Bowling Investments, the company that owns Annapolis Bowl, Greenway Bowl in Odenton, and Severna Park Lanes. All of the schools in Anne Arundel County, Maryland receive a kit, which includes 6 carpets; each twenty feet in length, with all the lane markings, 6 sets of poly-plastic regulation size pins, and 6 regulation-size bowling balls that weigh 3 to 5 pounds.

There are currently over 100 schools and 30,000 students, both public and private, using this program in their physical education classes. We would be happy to add your kids to this fantastic program. Home school programs are welcome!

Our In-School Bowling coordinator is Paul Dhyse, a retired Anne Arundel County teacher. Contact Paul to get more details on this exciting free offer by email here or by phone at: 410-991-6267.
